1. Organic Results

This are the results which are NOT paid for that you get from Search Engines. they are there because search engines trusts the site and its contents and finds them relevant to your search. This is where you want to find yourself when you start implementing you SEO Tricks, you want people to find you when they search for keywords relevant to what you do without you  having to pay the search engine for the recommendation.

2. Paid Results

You will find this results listed on top of the page with a green address bar and an icon with ‘Ad’ before the link (Highlighted in yellow below). You want to appear in this results if you are ready to pay the search engines, this process of search engine marketing is often a PPC model, this means you pay the search engine when someone clicks on your ad.

3. Knowledge Graph Content

You find this on your right side of the screen. This component is not available for all searches, it only appears for contents that have been associated with some details over time.

This is an example of the Knowledge Graph content that appears when I searched for Thanos.

4. Search Suggestions

This components recommends other relevant searches close to what you are searching for. It suggest searches that other people have been searching for that may have relevance to your search also.

Below is the suggestion I got when I searched for Business Plan.

This is where you find navigation to other result pages of the search engine.

More that 70% of searchers don’t actually navigate from the first page. Hence, your SEO goal is to be on the first SERP.

6. Search Query Box

This is where you input your keywords for Search Engines to process and provide you with results.

7. Featured Snippet

The Featured snippet is one of the technologies made available by cognitive computing. It presents you quick and succinct answers from other websites on the SERP without you having to click to visit the website itself. It often answers questions that most people have been searching for, and presents answers from websites that have been observed to have high authority in providing sufficient details and answers.

8. Content Filter Bar

This Bar allows you to filter between the file types and content formats on your Search Engine Result Page.

9. Local Listing

This components presents business that are registered on Google my Business and other Local Business Listings with relative Services and Products near the searcher.
